This Big Thing is recorded as still being here.
A chainsaw-carved wooden jackrabbit was installed beside the baseball and softball fields in Ralls, Texas, in 2017. It is 14 ft 6 in tall with 4-ft ears, weighs 5,000 pounds and was carved from four large elm trees by Cam Dockery of Whitharral, who took three days over it. Local reports in 2017 billed it as the world's largest jackrabbit. It was inspired by the 8-ft jackrabbit in Odessa.
