A 90-foot alligator facade, created by novelty sculptor Bob Duato, forms the entrance to Waves Surf and Sport, a souvenir/surf shop at 13705 NC-50, three miles north of Surf City, North Carolina. Shoppers enter the store through the gator's open mouth. Duato has said this is one of the best large sculptures he has created.
