FIELD GUIDE

The story

A giant frame beside a trail, pointed at the landscape rather than at anything built.
Current Waikato River Trails material lists the oversized viewing frame among the large-scale features on the Karāpiro section, where it joins the giant bicycle chainring frame a little further along.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Current Waikato River Trails material places the Viewing Frame resting area, together with the giant Tūī, after the Arapuni Suspension Bridge and before the Huihuitaha Wetland on the Karāpiro section. The former PBT locality point was about 19 km away and has been replaced by a conservative corridor anchor between independently mapped trail features; this is not claimed as the sculpture centroid.
ACCESS
Trail-side artwork on the Karāpiro section. PBT now places it only approximately within the independently bounded Arapuni Suspension Bridge–Huihuitaha approach corridor. The exact sculpture/rest-area coordinate and preferred trailhead arrival remain research tasks; do not navigate vehicles to the object anchor.
