'The Pitch,' a 16-foot-tall, powder-coated aluminum sculpture with color-changing LED lighting, functions as an artful bike rack at Harbor Park, home of the Norfolk Tides minor league baseball team, Norfolk, Virginia. Designed by local artist team PACT (Jen Stringer and Laura Freed), hired by the city's Public Art Commission on October 2, 2014, the piece references a ship's propeller with graduated rings suggesting water movement, celebrating Norfolk's nautical heritage. As of a November 2022 report, the sculpture was being relocated due to construction at Harbor Park.
