This Big Thing is recorded as still being here.
"Recyclosaurus Rex" is a large T-Rex sculpture built in 1992 outside Tampa's Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI), constructed from steel beams, plastic fencing and aluminum cans as a monument celebrating recycling. It has become a recognised Tampa community icon, though by the mid-2020s it required maintenance/restoration and was the subject of a preservation campaign.
