The story

The Receiver is a statue of a Green Bay Packers pass catcher in downtown Green Bay, Wisconsin, which the Green Bay tourism site gives as 22 feet tall and describes as repainted to honor Donald Driver.
According to Packers.com in 2013, the statue was first dedicated in 1985 in front of the old Packers Hall of Fame, across the street from Lambeau Field. At the time of that report it stood in front of Titletown Brewing. Wisconsin Public Radio reported in November 2003 that it had been moved from its spot outside the old Hall of Fame, and that a local developer hoped it would draw football fans downtown.
