The Mother Goose House is a five-room, goose-shaped house built by L&N Railroad employee George Stacy starting in 1937 (main structure completed 1940) in Wabaco, Perry County, Kentucky, after he was inspired by a goose skeleton. Built of sandstone gathered locally and from stones contributed by well-wishers from 48 states, it features eight egg-shaped windows, a feather-textured ribbed roof, and a roughly 15-foot goose head with headlight eyes atop the structure. Restored by Sherry Spradlin and reopened as the Harmony House Bed and Breakfast, it is leased by Perry County Fiscal Court with oversight from a Stacy family trust.
