A 21-foot fiberglass 'Mortimer Snerd' Muffler Man ('Halfwit' model) statue in front of Ken's Auto Repair and Muffler at 3537 W Northwest Highway, Dallas. Manufactured by International Fiberglass, marketed under the 'Mortimer Snerd' product name (referencing a 1930s ventriloquist dummy) in a 1966 catalog. Placed by shop founder Kenneth Johnson, who ordered Snerds for several of his Dallas-area shops and one in Beaumont.
