A roughly 10-foot-tall fiberglass Hereford bull statue -- about twice the shoulder height of a real Hereford -- greeting visitors at the main entrance of the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport, Iowa; originally the mascot of the former Sirloin Stockade restaurant across the street (closed 1982) before being relocated and, after repeated thefts, permanently cemented in place.
