La ville imaginaire is a white-granite sculpture by the Portuguese artist João Charters de Almeida, installed in 1997 in Parc Jean-Drapeau on Île Sainte-Hélène. It was a gift from the Metropolitano de Lisboa to the Société de transport de Montréal, which donated it to the City of Montréal for the 30th anniversary of the metro and Expo 67. The City's public art record describes it as 19 metres high and lists dimensions of 1900 x 1800 x 2750 cm without labelling the axes.
