FIELD GUIDE

The story

Visit Myrtle Beach, the area's tourism board, lists Jurassic Golf at 2900 South Kings Highway. The operator, Myrtle Beach Family Golf, describes the course as home to the horned-faced ceratopsian, the spitting dilophosaurus, the carnivorous T-Rex and a raptor, and says its Ice Age course is ADA accessible. On its homepage the company invites visitors to look for the state-of-the-art animatronic characters at its four themed courses.
A reviewer for the mini golf site A Couple of Putts, who played in October 2019, wrote that this was the only course there with full-on animatronics, as he believed, and that "the full scaled T-Rex at the midway point of the course was clearly inspired by the Jurassic Park film franchise."
