A trail of giant ant sculptures, each 5 feet long and weighing more than 60 lbs, marching across the top of a ramada at Brandi Fenton Memorial Park, Tucson, visible from River Road. Created by local artist Steve Kimble as the first installation of a Tucson public-sculpture program ('Sculpture on the Street'/Sculpture Tucson). Real ants are a fraction of an inch long, so a 5-ft sculpture is on the order of 100x+ scale -- an inherently-tiny real-world referent made unambiguously giant at any human-comparable size, the same logic already applied to other giant-insect precedents.
