A 22-foot-tall concrete alligator statue standing on the far west side of Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville. It was donated to the city in the 1980s. At a public meeting on 11 September 2025 about redesigning the park, attendees were asked to place green alligator markers on a map to suggest where the statue should go; no relocation decision was reported in that coverage. A roadside directory says the statue came from Casper's Alligator and Ostrich Farm in St. Augustine, which opened in 1946 and closed in 1982.
