The Camden Horse, a 14-foot-tall horse's head carved from an 18-ton block of Carrara, Italy marble by sculptor John Fisher in 2006, stands at Camden Monument Place apartments in Fairfax, Virginia. The marble block, originally about 55,000 pounds, was carved down to roughly 40,000 pounds and shipped from Livorno, Italy; it has since become a local landmark used for giving directions around Fairfax.
