Boots Around Town is a trail of painted cowboy-boot sculptures at businesses and public buildings in Bonifay, Florida. The Bonifay Kiwanis Club began it in 2023 around its rodeo weekend, and the Holmes County Advertiser counted eleven boots in October 2024.

The story
Bonifay's rodeo has grown a public-art trail of oversized painted boots. The rodeo's own page says the Bonifay Kiwanis Club has produced the Northwest Florida Championship Rodeo annually for 80 years and introduced Boots Around Town in 2023: a twelve-foot sculpture of boots, hats and rope at Memorial Field, the rodeo venue, plus five six-foot statues around town. Local artists Brandi Jordan and Kate Steele paint each boot to suit its host. In October 2024 the Holmes County Advertiser counted eleven boots in town, with plans for more, and listed hosts including Bonifay Fire-Rescue, Bonifay Police Department, the Holmes County Sheriff's Office, the Holmes District School Board, Memorial Field and several local businesses. The Advertiser reported that the boots are moulded by the same company that makes the customised peanuts in Dothan, Alabama, and that Holmes Tool applies an automotive clear coat once the paint is finished.
