A giant white dress shirt honouring the former AlaTex shirt mill was installed on a pedestal in front of the Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce, according to the City of Andalusia, which gives its size as 14 by 11 feet. A 2019 travel blog photographed it there.

FIELD GUIDE
The story
Andalusia, Alabama, installed a giant white shirt as a tribute to the AlaTex mill and the people who worked there.
The City of Andalusia, which bought the old AlaTex mill in 2009, says the company was founded in the town in the 1920s and occupied a 35-acre complex on River Falls Street until about 1995, making millions of Arrow men's dress shirts. The site became the Chamber of Commerce office and welcome centre. The city describes a shirt 14 feet high by 11 feet wide, weighing 2,500 pounds, installed on a pedestal in front of the Chamber office. Mayor Earl Johnson said he expected it to "become an attraction for visitors".
