A giant peach on a pole beside Interstate 75 at Byron, Georgia, standing there from 1987 to advertise an antiques mall. Travellers through central Georgia knew it as a landmark, and local T-shirts carried the line "my brakes go screech when I see the Big Peach". Storms that swept the South in early April 2011 knocked it down, and a dealer at the mall said he hoped it could be brought back.
