A 20-foot-tall, full-color Virgin Mary statue -- roughly three times life size -- standing atop an Earth globe holding a rosary, the centerpiece of the Hoa-Binh (Area of Peace) garden shrine across from the Queen of Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church in Port Arthur, Texas. Built by parishioners in gratitude for their welcome to Port Arthur; the grounds include Stations of the Cross statues and a central pagoda.
