The story

Big Jim, the Giant Gunslinger, is a 20-foot metal gunslinger that, according to Visit PA in October 2023, stands guard over a hotel just off Interstate 70 at Bentleyville, near Pittsburgh.
According to Visit PA's roundup of Pennsylvania roadside attractions, published in October 2023, the 70,000-pound sculpture was crafted by western Pennsylvania welder James C. Krutz in 1978 and watched over his welding shop for years before taking up "his new hotel assignment in 2007." Visit PA describes a cocked six-shooter in his right hand, a Pennsylvania long rifle in his left, and a horseshoe belt buckle.
