A 32-foot-long concrete whale sculpture, named 'Queequeg' by its creator, outsider artist Kyle Siler, sits in an undersized blue-tiled pool at an oceanside rental property on Highway 1 in Westport, on California's Mendocino coast. The whale sculpture spouts water from a mechanism at the top of the hour between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., and has a door leading into its hollow interior. It hosts an annual Memorial Day weekend 'Westport Whale Festival' celebrating the migrating gray whales offshore.
