Welcome Figure is a 24-foot-tall cedar sculpture of a standing Coast Salish woman with outstretched arms, carved from a single wind-fall cedar log by Qwalsius Shaun Peterson (Puyallup) and installed in Tollefson Plaza, Tacoma, in September 2010. It was commissioned in partnership between the City of Tacoma, the Puyallup Tribe and Tacoma Art Museum, on the site of a former Puyallup village.
