FIELD GUIDE

The story

The Trojan Horse at Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park is a go-kart track with a horse built around it. According to the park, the owner gathered a small crew of employees in 1997 and presented a tiny wooden horse bought in Las Vegas on a visit to Caesars Palace. Together they built a 65-foot wooden replica, which the park says has go-kart tracks that climb up and through the hollow belly. The park says it marks the border between Wisconsin Dells and Lake Delton.
The park's outdoor theme park page lists a Trojan Horse Go-Kart Track. Accounts of the ride differ. A September 2017 trip report on the enthusiast site Limitless Park said that, as of 2017, the spiral up to the horse had been blocked off and riders no longer drove through it. A May 2025 go-karting guide on wisdells.com, the Wisconsin Dells tourism site, describes the park taking riders "through the iconic Trojan Horse Go-Kart Track".
