"The Traveling Man: Walking Tall," a 38-foot-tall metal robot sculpture posed mid-stride, near the DART light rail's Deep Ellum Station, Dallas. Created by sculptor Brad Oldham in collaboration with Brandon Oldenburg of Reel FX Creative Studios, and commissioned by Dallas Area Rapid Transit, it was unveiled in August 2009 and is the largest of a three-piece narrative series (with the smaller 'Awakening' and 'Waiting on a Train') evoking Deep Ellum's rail history.
