The story
Visit Montana lists The Perkulator as a drive-through coffee shop in the Tea Pot building in Poplar, Montana. The listing places it on Highway 2 East next to Tribal Express and says it offers drive-through espresso, lattes, cappuccinos and frozen blended drinks. The Montana Historic Landscape blog called it its author's favourite new building in Poplar in 2013 and, in a post dated 12 October 2024, reported that the coffee shop was still going strong on U.S. Highway 2 in Poplar.
Montana's Missouri River Country, the regional tourism site, repeats the same description.
