The Coffee Pot, a roadhouse building on Brambleton Avenue (formerly US Route 221) in Roanoke, Virginia, features a distinctive 15-foot stucco coffee pot structure -- red with a white spout and top -- mounted on the roof at the building's southern end. Built in 1936 by Clifton F. and Irene L. Kefauver, originally as a filling station and tea room before being converted into a roadhouse, the building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on May 31, 1996, and remains the only active roadhouse in the Roanoke Valley.
