This Big Thing is recorded as still being here.
A large fiberglass statue of Confederate general Thomas 'Stonewall' Jackson, created by sculptor Mark Cline (also known for Foamhenge and Dinosaur Kingdom II), stands on private property just north of Lexington, Virginia along US-11. Cline, who has portrayed Jackson in local theater, designed the sculpture to be readable at highway speed rather than as a traditional monumental likeness, giving it a deliberately folk-artistic, character-driven style.
