FIELD GUIDE
The story
Santi Ikto sits on a coastal ridge at Halls Head, and reaching her is a 1.3-kilometre return walk from Calypso Road.
She is one of the six Giants of Mandurah, Thomas Dambo's recycled-wood sculptures hidden through the Peel region, and Visit Mandurah lists her among the trail's set. A 2026 City of Mandurah coastal-planning document confirms the sculpture remains installed on the ridge – which is a useful and unusual form of verification, since planning documents record what is physically present rather than what tourism material would like to be.
