FIELD GUIDE
The story
KGUN 9 opened its 2020 profile of Tucson's Rattlesnake Bridge with the line "It was once called the bridge to nowhere." KGUN 9 called it a Tucson landmark in 2020: a pedestrian and bicycle bridge over Broadway Boulevard built in the shape of a Western diamondback rattlesnake.
Locals also call it the Snake Bridge or Diamondback Bridge. A fabricator's project page says it gives bicycle and pedestrian access from the east side of Tucson to downtown. The City of Tucson places it over Broadway between Maclovio Barraza Parkway and Euclid Avenue.
