PEZ Visitor Center giant PEZ dispenser

The dispenser is part of a 4,000-square-foot visitor center that PEZ opened at its headquarters in 2011. According to Connecticut History, PEZ became a privately owned US company in the 1970s and moved to Orange. PEZ describes the center as holding the largest and most comprehensive collection of PEZ memorabilia on public display in the world, along with a motorcycle built by Orange County Choppers, a trivia game, an interactive timeline and a retail area. That collection claim is PEZ's own wording.

Visits are self-guided, with tickets sold in the lobby. PEZ lists admission at $5, with $4 for seniors and children aged 3 to 12 and free entry for those under 3, and says each paid admission includes a $2 credit toward a same-day purchase. The factory floor cannot be toured, but viewing windows look onto production, and the tourism listing notes that the line is typically not running on weekends. Both PEZ and the Connecticut Office of Tourism list hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily (check current hours before visiting); the center is just off I-95 at exit 41.
