A fiberglass Muffler Man statue stood on top of the White's Tire building on Goldsboro Street in Wilson, North Carolina, according to Strange Carolinas (6 July 2015). A note on that post says the attraction is no longer there, and Roadside America lists it as gone, with a report in May 2019 and a note that the station was sold in 2019. No independent news or municipal source confirms its status.
