A 15-foot concrete statue of Paul Bunyan stands at the front gate of Camp Nebagamon, a boys' summer camp in Lake Nebagamon, Wisconsin. The current figure was built over wire mesh in 1969 by La Crosse art teacher Anthony Zimmerhakl and his son Steve, replacing wooden Pauls carved in 1937 and 1958.
