A 40-foot-tall fiberglass Paul Bunyan statue, accompanied by a smaller fiberglass figure of his companion Babe the Blue Ox, towers over I-95 at Exit 145 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, advertising the Log Cabin Homes sales center. The statues date to the 1960s and were originally displayed at a family-owned entertainment center in Brainerd, Minnesota, before being purchased and relocated to North Carolina in 2011. In June 2019, the North Carolina Department of Transportation officially recognized the Log Cabin Homes sales center as a roadside attraction; daily tours are offered Monday through Saturday.
