FIELD GUIDE
The story
#LOVETAUPŌ, spelled out at human scale on the lakefront, exists to be stood in.
The oversized lettering has become one of the town's most-used photo landmarks, and current destination-industry material describes it as an icon and a must-stop, with visitors encouraged to pose in, around and on the letters. That last phrase is the design brief: the sign is not something to look at but something to climb into, and the hashtag makes the intended outcome explicit.

ACCESS
The #LOVETAUPŌ lettering stands on the public Lake Terrace lakefront. Drivers should use Taupō District Council's free all-day Roberts Street Public Carpark (about 60 spaces, council-mapped), about 150 m from the letters, and walk to the lakefront. The artwork coordinate itself is not a vehicle destination.
