'Killer' the Armadillo, a 48-foot-long, 4.5-ton steel sculpture by Texas welding artist Marc Rankin, who devoted over 2,000 hours to its creation as the centerpiece of Six Flags' 'Best of Texas 2002' exhibit, seen by over a million visitors that year. Registered in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's largest armadillo (sculpture). After being sold several times, the piece was purchased by farmer/art collector Cullen Crisp and now sits on his gated private Fall Creek Farms property near Acton, Texas (which also operates a bed and breakfast and u-pick farm), visible from the road at a distance of roughly 150 yards.
