Green Coyote, a 13-by-16-foot sculpture of a coyote made from up-cycled automobile sheet metal by Santa Fe artist Don Kennell (2015), created in response to high-profile coyote-killing contests in New Mexico to give the animal a dynamic, public symbolic presence. Originally placed temporarily in Railyard Park's picnic circle, it now permanently resides outside Meow Wolf's House of Eternal Return, Santa Fe. Real coyotes stand roughly 2 ft at the shoulder, making this several times life-size.
