This Big Thing is recorded as still being here.
Grahamland is a 10-acre roadside attraction off Highway 74/76 in Bolton, North Carolina, created and continually expanded by fiberglass artist Hubert Graham (with collaborator Betty Dolce), who has spent nearly 20 years creating and restoring larger-than-life fiberglass figures, fulfilling a childhood dream of building his own amusement park. The grounds display numerous oversized figures including flamingos, polar bears, horses, steers, a Paul Bunyan, a Jolly Green Giant, several lighthouses, giant fruit, an octopus, and two 'Uniroyal Gals' (a rare style of the Uniroyal tire company's fiberglass advertising figures). Admission is $10 per person to walk the grounds and photograph the figures; most are also for sale or available to rent for parties and corporate events.
