This Big Thing is recorded as still being here.
A pair of giant steel cowboy spurs, each 28 feet long and 14 feet wide and weighing 4,300 pounds, was made for the Wickenburg Ranch community northwest of Wickenburg, Arizona, according to the maker's page of February 2015. A community roundabouts database lists them in the centre of the roundabout at US 93 and Wickenburg Ranch Way, with a completion year estimated at 2014 to 2015. Two Roadside America visitor tips disagree about where they are now: one in March 2024 puts them a short distance inside the gated community, and one in April 2026 puts them in a yard along Frontage Road 3. Their current location is not confirmed.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Visitor tips conflict on where the spurs are now, one placing them inside a gated community and another in a yard, so they should not be assumed to be visible from a public road. Check locally before visiting.
