FIELD GUIDE
The story
Fergus is a four-metre bull carved out of wood, and he functions as a road sign.
Current visitor directions for the Ferguson Valley still tell people to use Fergus and the Millars Creek Information Bay as the landmark for knowing they have arrived – which is the highest practical compliment a piece of public sculpture can be paid. He is not an attraction people drive to; he is the thing that tells them they are in the right place.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Current Ferguson Valley visitor directions still use Fergus the Bull and the Millars Creek Information Bay as a landmark for entering the region. Shire material also identifies Fergus as an official Dardanup symbol and artwork.
ACCESS
Fergus the Bull stands within the Millars Creek Information Bay, a signed rest stop directly on the Forrest Highway (Australind Bypass) between Millbridge and Eaton. Two independent sources converge on essentially the same coordinate as the stored point, confirming it as the actual pull-off where vehicles stop -- direct navigation to this coordinate is appropriate.
