A 42-foot, more-than-1,500-pound bronze rattlesnake sculpture -- seven times life-size -- was installed in front of Florida A&M University's Center for Access and Student Success (CASS) Building on Wahnish Way in January 2021, ahead of the building's ribbon-cutting. Created by Brad Cooley of Bronze by Cooley (Lamont, Florida) at a cost of roughly $112,000, the statue quickly became one of the most popular photo spots on campus, embodying FAMU's Rattlers mascot spirit.
