This Big Thing is recorded as still being here.
EddieWorld, opened in 2018 at 36017 Calico Road in Yermo, California, bills itself as the largest gas station in the state (26 fuel pumps, a 27,000-sq-ft candy/convenience store). Its centerpiece and namesake landmark is a roughly 65-foot-tall giant ice cream sundae sculpture, built atop a required water tank in the parking lot, marketed as (and reported by multiple outlets as) the World's Largest Ice Cream Sculpture. The site drew coverage from KTLA, News 3 Las Vegas, and NBC Nightly News upon opening.
