The story
Three bronze hares frozen mid-leap stand at the top of a grassy slope in Ballantrae Community Park in Dublin, Ohio.
The Dublin Arts Council lists Dancing Hares by Sophie Ryder in its public art collection. Visit Dublin wrote in April 2025 that the hares were created by London-based Ryder and were inspired by the "boxing" courtship rituals of spring rabbits. It says that if you look closely you will find pipes, hammers, screws and other everyday objects embedded in the metal, and that locals affectionately call the park "Bunny Hill".
