The story

They went up on a Monday. On the Tuesday the Hunter was hit by the equivalent of a category 2 cyclone, and they stayed exactly where they were.
Mortels tells the story plainly: the Big UGG Boots were erected on 20 April 2015, and on 21 April 2015 the region was ravaged by devastating winds and rain. The boots – fibreglass and steel, about 600 kilograms each – came through it.
