A giant orange-shaped structure that, according to a 2015 Associated Press report, came to Lake County, Florida, in 1971, when more than 130,000 acres were in citrus and roadside stands often had a distinctive piece of architecture. After the citrus industry declined, it sat for years covered in mould and vines behind an antique market. Sunsational Citrus of Umatilla bought it and had it lifted away by crane, and by November 2015 it had been restored with sandblasting, primer and acrylic orange paint, with fibreglass leaves painted green and mounted on top, and fitted inside with cabinets of citrus antiques such as picking sacks and smudge pots.
