The Big Fiddle is a steel fiddle and bow on the Sydney waterfront beside the Joan Harriss Cruise Pavilion, built in 2005 and designed and constructed by Cyril Hearn as a tribute to the folk music and traditions of the province's Celtic community. Destination Cape Breton lists it at 60 feet including the bow and calls it the world's largest fiddle, a tourism claim not independently verified. Its Gaelic name is Fidheal Mhor a' Ceilidh.
