FIELD GUIDE

The story

You buy your cruise ticket by walking into a crocodile's mouth.
The Big Crocodile Head was built in 2001 as the entryway and kiosk entrance for what is now Crocodile Express at Daintree Gateway, and at two metres by four it is scaled so the open jaws form a doorway rather than a display. Visitors pass through the teeth to reach the counter.
