FIELD GUIDE
The story
Twenty metres of concrete crocodile, smiling, at the entrance to the most northerly town in Western Australia.
The Big Croc greets everyone driving into Wyndham, and Tourism WA describes the welcoming grin from the side of the road without apparent irony. The statue is around twenty metres long and three metres high, in concrete, and it is free to visit with a car park at the site.
