“Big Jim” is a blue fiberglass brachiosaurus first put on show in 1996 outside Statuary World beside Interstate 35. Jameson’s Discount Home Improvement moved it to Yukon in 2020, and the Midwest City Beacon reported in November 2025 that it had moved again, to the firm’s Midwest City store.

FIELD GUIDE
The story
A blue fiberglass brachiosaurus has now moved twice, and each time it had to be cut apart. Known as "Big Jim" to Jameson's Discount Home Improvement, it began its roadside life in 1996.
405 magazine reported that the dinosaur was put on display that year outside the new Statuary World location beside Interstate 35, billed as 65 feet long and 33 feet tall. It said the designer worked with three others to shape a rebar skeleton, cover it with chicken wire and add three layers of fiberglass and resin. The Midwest City Beacon, in 2025, said it was created by an El Reno artist.
