FIELD GUIDE

The story

At a barramundi hatchery, which makes it the most functional fish monument in the catalogue.
The Les Wilson Barramundi Discovery Centre at Karumba is a working council-run facility that breeds barramundi fingerlings for restocking Gulf waterways, alongside its visitor and information role at 149 Yappar Street. The giant barra outside is advertising an operation that produces the actual fish.
