FIELD GUIDE

The story

There is more than one apple at Batlow, and the record is precise about which one this is.
Destination NSW continues to identify the Big Apple as one of Batlow's defining attractions, and current mapping places the original sculpture roughly five kilometres north of town – separate from the smaller apple-themed features associated with the former Wilgro Orchards site. Conflating the two is the obvious error and this entry avoids it.
