A seven-foot-high hollow concrete head of the Greek goddess Athena, sculpted by Santa Rosa artist Peter Crompton and installed in Cotati Plaza in April 2011 as part of the Cotati Arts Project. Originally intended as a temporary installation, its local popularity led a former city manager to arrange for the artist to be paid so it could remain permanently; it was removed for repairs and reinstalled in October 2022. Visitors can look through the sculpture's hollow eyes.
